Innovative Schools Award 2021

Genazzano named winner... 3 years in a row!

An Innovation evolution

For the third year in a row, the College has been named as a Winner in the Educator’s awards for Innovative Schools. This recognition of Genazzano’s future focused programs highlights the College’s evolution of innovative initiatives and progressive work with educational and industry partners.

Over the past year, Genazzano has been agile and creative through lockdowns. Our teachers have dived into new areas such as gamification; neuroscience; data science; design thinking and more, to create new opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. The College has sights set firmly on the future and has launched new initiatives to respond to the passions, future careers and personalised needs of our students.

What are some of the new initiatives?

  • At the heart of the evolution are Genazzano’s four newly created Centres of Excellence promoting the development of skills in key areas: Global and Intercultural Learning, Innovation and Technology, Sports Development and Creative Industries.
  • Genazzano Institute offers students opportunities to learn 'Future and Professional Skills’ through the GEN.i.US MicrocredentialsCourses include Science EndeavourFoundations in PhilanthropyMusic CompositionMetacognition and The EDGE (promoting empowerment, leadership and resilience), with exciting new programs available in areas of sports, theatre, art and global learning for 2022.
